WEBSITE ATTACK ??

In recent weeks our website domain needing renewing and so for a few day the site was offline while that process was underway. However once the website was re-published by our host we noticed the product pages had been completely deleted / removed which we presume could only have been done by WordPress themselves who this site is built through. At that time there were no products (seeds for sale) visible on our site or even in the background editing section, everything, pictures and descriptions, was gone. It appeared that someone from WordPress had been into the editing section for this site and simply hit delete maliciously erasing 7 years of work?

However I have just today logged back in to the editing side of this site to see that magically all of the product pages and full plant descriptions have re-appeared, however the imagery is still all missing. Apparently all the products (strains) are currently published, live and visible to the public which is absolutely not the case? I’m about as far as it is possible to get from being a computer whizz so this has me totally baffled and I am unsure still if this is a specific attack on my site for being canna related or not? And unsure if I can make the products again visible to the public?

 

NEW WEBSITE FOR BSB GENETICS

I have made no secret of it for the last 6 months that once we could guarantee a regular supply of seeds coming to us through customs that I plan on having a brand new site built for me from the ground up, a more professional looking site which better represents the brand and what we are all about. The plans have somewhat stalled the last couple of weeks since we secured 2 shipments of seeds due to the mass of information stored here which appeared to be completely lost. So with todays discovery that the plant descriptions are still here this gives me hope that very soon work on a new site can begin. I can’t stamp a time for completion etc as there will no doubt be a mammoth amount of work to carry out, but I can assure everyone that I am working with the best people in the industry to make this an eventual reality.

 

NEW SEEDS & STRAINS IN STOCK

In the last few weeks we have taken delivery of 2 new batches of seeds including the 2 new strains mentioned above ‘Watermelon Zkittles’ and ‘Glookies’. We have re-stocked on Blackberry Rocks and Banana Kush which are our top 2 sellers, so be fast if you want those as  deliveries of seeds are still not absolutely guaranteed, we had to wait 8 months to get these new consignments ordered. We have also topped up on many other strains including Five Alive, Purple Berry Punch, Wedding Cake, Mimosa, Rainbow Glue, Chunky Pineapple and more, but stocks are limited and the bulk of what we order from our breeders goes out to our wholesale partner leaving us shorter on stocks we carry in store ourselves. However it’s nice to report a positive in that both consignemts of seeds recently ordered cleared customs without a hiccup which is due to the last 6+ months of hard and costly work behind the scenes with our breeders to ensure this eventuality.

 

FINAL THOUGHTS

The future still isn’t clear, it never truly will be for our trade as we are very much a frowned upon industry for the very simple fact that cannabis / hemp has the power to change the world, and so it is that the leaders of the world all want to supress, silence and see us eradicated to protect their own investments into such trades as the oil industry, the cotton industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the paper industry, the food industry and so on.

But what I have always known working now 16 years in this sector is that it is built up of some of the most amazing and resilient peaceful and loving people this world has to offer and that together we always have and always will continue to grow and strengthen throughout times of adversity.

BSB Genetics is no stranger itself to an onslaught of attacks from multiple high street banks, landlords, customs, website hosts, merchant services and the refusal to work with us from the likes of accountants, insurance companies, local services etc etc.

But here we still are, and here we will always remain, and we are doing it for you, for everyone, for the planet, but mostly I’m doing this for my children, for my true purpose in life.
