WIDOW MAKER

Widow Maker has very strong genetic ties to the original landrace Afghani. A crossing of four elite indica’s, the Afghani x Northern Lights x Ortega x Hash Plant, with the latter 3 strains all being genetically linked back to Afghani. The resulting hybrid of these indica’s, theBlack Domina, was then crossed with a potent Auto White Widow to produce our Widow Maker.

Widow Maker, due to her ruderalis parent, is a fast finishing strain reducing the flowering time of the original Black Domina parent by 1-2 weeks. This fast finishing trait allows her to finish flowering outdoors earlier than regular photo-period varieties which is great news for any grower. The added benefit here apart from time saving is that outdoors she is ready for harvest before the weather turns cooler and damper allowing you to completely avoid the complications that can bring.

Reaching no higher than one meter and ready for harvest from just 6 weeks of flowering she is a short and fast finishing plant that’s incredibly easy to look after and grow for even a first time grower.

Her foliage is predominantly bright Green but produces lovely shades of Purple and Black in the right conditions and she loads up heavily with resin aiding her further protection against pests and diseases.

Widow Maker’s effects are sedative, soothing and relaxing very typical of a true indica while she delivers sweet berry, fruity and peppery flavours with a spicy, peppery and pungent aroma.

Beta-Myrcene

The primary terpene in Widow Maker is Beta-Myrcene. Several studies have found that this terpene could be effective against different types of cancer. Beta-Myrcene has also been found to have Anticonvulsant, Antioxidant, Anti-Inflammatory, Sedative, Muscle Relaxing and Pain Relieving effects.
